About Us
Background
Norma is a trained information professional with a Master of Library Science degree (1981) from the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada.
As a generalist with a liberal arts background and wide-ranging interests, she was determined to learn how to find information. That way, she figured, she could have it all. Lois Horowitz, librarian and author said,
Not having the information you need when you need it leaves you wanting. Not knowing where to look for that information leaves you powerless. In a society where information is king, none of us can afford that.
The one continuous thread throughout her university years and working career before and after library school was the gathering and analysis of information. Norma says that her studies in English literature began this trend which continued through the years of bookkeeping, analysis, design and sales of business and accounting systems, training, management consulting and volunteer work.
Why us?
Norma is now based in Ottawa, Canada though her business is international in scope. She is highly skilled in determining the needs of her clients, applying her experience to finding, evaluating, synthesizing and analyzing information and delivering it. She has now branched out into training others to use search techniques to improve their Internet search experience.
